I know.. I know...it's been a while that I have actually came on here and did an update-- I am not going to lie- but it seems as if I haven't busy to come online; i know that is not an excuse for not keeping you all updated (especially since I have heard from many they do come on here to read any updates).
The last few weeks- I actually would start to blog, but never went back to write. But to give a quick update, some of the rides that I have done include a 40+ mile ride in Pasadena (it was a HOT HOT DAY), Griffith Park (happy hour friday), San Francisco, and I have actually done one ride-- solo! I was afraid of doing it; i started off alone, but ended up meeting someone that is also doing the ride. On top of that, I have been keeping up with my spinning class. It's not the same though as going out and riding.
My training will take a HUGE make-over! With 6 weeks left, I have no time to just sit back and relax. I have been seeing some of the old route slips-- and let me tell you, its not an easy ride (duh, it's 545 miles). I am started to do longer rides and some with hills. I plan to be spinning Tuesdays and Thursdays and riding Friday afternoon, and Saturdays/Sundays. I will see if I can squeeze either some after noon or early morning on Monday and Wednesday.
I have really started to enjoy these rides- not only am I doing it for a great cause, but I am getting in shape (which i am LOVING). The only problem is that I am not near my goal of $2500-- so, please join me and help those around us living with HIV/AIDS- www.aidslifecycle.com/6003
